I actually made some things today
it's good to know I didn't completely forget *how to art*....
Here's one of the things I made.
after I finished it I was like "hmmmm what am I going to do w/ it?" Then I had an idea...
I'll use it as a little prayer altar. I wrote the name of friends who need my prayers on little tags and hung them from the nails on the top. Now I can remember who needs a little help from above ;)
The weather has been so crazy. Last week we were enjoying spring--my Camilia bushes and Azaleas are in full bloom (the yard even needs mowing) and today it's been cold and windy. I decided to use up the last of the firewood and build a fire for the kids to enjoy...and when I stepped outside to get the wood it was SLEETING! Maybe we'll get lucky and get a few snow flurries-the kids would love that.
I hope all of you have a great weekend.

i really like this prayer piece, carla. it is such a wonderful touchstone to remind you to hold these people close to your heart throughout the day. and it's dang pretty, too!

glad to hear that you're ovuh beeing sick. We're gearing up here for the horrid pollen season that is about to rain down on us with the beautiful spring. I may have to dye my hair blonde so that the pollen doesn't show up so much on mah head....haaaa!
