While on the Indian Nation Turnpike in Oklahoma I snapped a picture of something that has always inspired me and made me feel like GOD was close at hand. Everytime I see this I know I am getting closer to home. I wish I knew who had taken the time to spell the word JESUS out with big rocks on the side of that mountain. I'd like to give them a *hug* for making me smile each time I pass by it.
This is why you get lousy gas mileage in Oklahoma. Between the hills and the wind you may have to stop for fill-ups more often than you'd planned.
These are my gorgeous little sisters (they are going to kill me for posting this). It's funny how different we all are, yet so much alike at the same time. I'm grateful for the time we got to spend together, and wish we weren't so far apart so that we could do it more often. *I love you guys!!!*
Since we've been home the kids and I have been incredibly busy with school. I'm happy that both kids seemed to have matured quite a bit over the summer. Chloe is doing so much better this year than last, and JJ continues to amaze me by how quickly he gets things.
There has been nothing done on the art front (except buying stuff--does that count?) Hopefully, next week I can get in the art room and finish up my charms and Day of the Dead danglies. I bought a photo shop 'how-to' book while in OKC, and I'm hoping that'll help me figure the #[email protected]#$@ program out.
I'm off to do some laundry and tidying up around here.
Hope you are having a great weekend.
