but not in the way I had hoped
All that's left of my lovely bundle (shown in the last post) is this...
I had moved it when I saw a certain yellow dog jumping up and trying to get it out of the tree.
A nice storm blew through and the aforementioned yellow dog ate it up when she found it on the ground.

I'm off to make up a new one and then I'll search for a safer place in which to put it till May.
I was so excited when I read about this project on Mr Seth's blog. There are already almost 100 participants! How cool is that?
I quickly threw together my little bundle this morning and hung it outside in a fig tree. I can't wait to see what it looks like on May 1st!

Everyone at casa Naron is feeling better except for poor big Daddy. After coming home to take care of all of us--he's now in the bed w/ the crud. We are all "OVER" this being sick business!
Played in the art room today (instead of cleaning it up like I intended).
These three paintings were done on big wooden circles w/ wire hangers. They orginally had some funky halloween art on them--I scored them on clearance at Wal-Mart a couple of years ago for .25 each. I LOVE a bargain on things that can be altered!
I also love tarnished silver frames :D Lately I'm going through a grey/green phase. This kind of painting makes me very HAPPY! Some day very soon I'm going to buy some BIG BIG canvases and just paint to my little heart's content.
Lastly, here's a recent photo of our baby lab Miz Maddie. She's 5 months old now and weighs 50 lbs! Love her to pieces.
I have so much I'd like to share, but my little guy is waiting for me to watch a tivo'd episode of the naked brothers band w/ him--so off I go.
