It's time for a S W A P!! ATCs anyone?

I'm posting the details of a swap I'm hosting via my collage cat group and I'm hoping you'll play along with us. You don't need to be a member to participate--but if you would like to join us we'd love that! Here are the links to

Collage Cat Group ATC swap hosted by Carla Naron

Theme: Whatever "Look" you are into these days. Traditional collage or digital
collage whatever floats your boat. Please use high quality cardstock for
backgrounds--so ATCs are strong and not flimsy. You can always sew more than one
card together to get a really nice substrate on which to work. Remember the only
rules about ATCs is...

1)their size.. they absolutely must be 2.5 x 3.5 inches and
2)keep 3D items relatively flat so the cards can be slipped into frames or clear
trading card binder pockets.

Please add your contact information and swap information to the back of your
cards.

I'll need at least 6 players for this swap to be a "go" so make six cards all
alike so we'll all have a matching set. We're set--have enough to play, but it's always more fun with a large group. Hoping for lots more sign-ups!

I'm having so much fun!

I'm in experiment mode now--I've taken the things I've learned in Marie's class and am applying them to every photo on my hard drive! I'm officially addicted to pushing pixels! Here I've revamped an old artwork and incorporated one of my all-time favorite sayings. I've always been a wanderer, but seldom have I been really lost :D

 
There is LOTS going on at Casa Naron this week....Big Daddy bought himself a Cadillac that he will hopefully pick up Monday or Tuesday, Miz Chloe is celebrating her birthday ALL WEEK LONG, and I've got two baby kitties sneezing with runny noses. Do cats suffer from allergies like people do?

I'm excited about resuming homeschool classes--I get *all inspired* when the back to school supplies come to the stores! We're stocked up on everything we need, and I just have to sit down and work out the unit studies and lesson plans--this is going to be a fun year!!

I hope all of my reader friends are having a great summer, and are finding some time for a little R&R!!

The online class everyone is talking about

I have been having the absolute BEST time learning photoshop (elements) techniques from my bestie Marie in her Digital Magic Class. I know I know she's my friend, but I can honestly tell you she is the best teacher ever! If you have been wanting to learn how to do things in photoshop, but know that it's complicated and you really don't know how to make it do *anything*--Marie can get you over the hump. Her class videos show you everything--so if you're a visual learner like me, you'll GET IT!! Here are the few things I've made the past couple of weeks.... I still need to practice, but I'm pretty proud of these results considering what a newbie I am.
